"Reframing the Canon" seeks to challenge narrow perceptions of Black art by showcasing its vast and varied dimensions. This exhibition will highlight that Black art is not limited to themes of struggle or the Black diaspora's hardships but also encompasses joy, innovation, identity, cultural pride, and a rich array of experiences that define the contemporary Black existence.
